Mahendra Kumar Sani

Mahender Kumar Sani is a contemporary Indian Urdu poet, emerging literary critic and mentor. Born in Faizabad, Uttar Pradesh, in 1984, he is based in Panchkula and is known for his contribution to contemporary Urdu poetry. His literary work includes ghazals and poetry that explore love, loneliness, human emotions, relationships and the complexities of everyday life. Alongside writing poetry, Sani is involved in teaching the technical aspects of Urdu script and the intricacies of Urdu poetry, including its traditional poetic forms and metres. Rekhta features a substantial collection of his ghazals and sher-o-shayari, reflecting his growing presence in contemporary Urdu literature.
