Kashif Husain Gaair

Kashif Husain Ghair is a contemporary Pakistani Urdu poet known for his ghazals and lyrical expression. Born in Karachi in 1979, he belongs to the new generation of Urdu poets and has developed a distinctive voice in modern Urdu ghazal. His poetry explores love, separation, loneliness, human relationships and the complexities of everyday life. His verses are known for their accessible language, emotional depth and reflective quality. Rekhta features a substantial collection of his ghazals and sher-o-shayari, making him a recognised contemporary voice in Pakistani Urdu poetry.
