Biography

Dilawar Ali Aazar is a contemporary Pakistani Urdu poet known for his ghazals, naat and salam poetry. Born in Hasan Abdal, Punjab, in 1984, he is regarded as an important voice among the younger generation of Urdu poets. His poetry combines emotional depth with simple and expressive language, exploring themes of love, spirituality, human relationships and life experiences. His first poetry collection, Paani, was published in 2013, followed by Maakhuz, Naqsh, Keemiya, Sayyedi, Bahater and Abjad. His poetry has been published in collections across Pakistan and India and is also available in both Urdu and Devanagari scripts.
