Dheerendra Singh Fayyaz

Dheerendra Singh Faiyaz is a contemporary Indian Urdu poet and writer known for his deep engagement with Urdu, Hindi and English literature. Born in Chandla near Khajuraho in 1987, he developed a strong interest in literature, poetry and language from an early age. He is recognised for his work as a poet, serious reader and researcher of Urdu literature and maintains a keen interest in contemporary literary and poetic developments. His poetry includes ghazals and reflects themes of love, human emotions and life experiences. His book Main Urdu Hoon explores the history, development and cultural journey of the Urdu language and introduces readers to its literary traditions and connections with other languages and scripts.
